when churchbells ring to signal the beginning of an end when phonecalls end at the loss of credit balance when messenger windows close due to faulty network connection when curtain calls for end of shows mean we have to stand up and leave when muddy streets and slippery pavements mean more cloudy days when ber-months begin and to storms we make way when the first noels are sung on my month of awakening when sad movies call for tears that stream down my cheeks when yuletide season nears in lonely curtained rooms when oceans tear the distance far more apart it just ultimately breaks my heart 5:26pm Saturday, Sep 15 |
