Fall of February
Cast your eyes upon mine Creep into my limbs the tendrils of your stare
Waking day after another they try To snatch the chest upon which the treasure lays Night after night a bird keeps singing Calling out your name in darkness Soul after soul he keeps on searching Til he finally lays his eyes on his mistress What good is a word if unfulfilled? What good is a heart if not loving? What good is a man if unaccomplished? The love if his life slowly dying The remains of a lover buried deep Six feet of the heart underneath The gusts of wind still keep blowing Seeking until finsing its keep The spirit of the stranger lost in mourning The sorrow overflows in its defeat The heart of the man is kept from falling Until he can no longer get away with it
