So, i looked at our wall and found out people actually read this. So i figured i would introduce everyone in the family! Well, first of all there's my parents, Sue and John. They own Clay Hollow Farm. They decided to look for property after visiting VT for a family vacation in the summer '03. So in April of '05 they were the proud owners of 78 acres. (to find out more about the property go to our website www.geocitites.com/clayhollowfarm/NH.html) We were all still living in NY, just 2 hrs north of NYC. By 'we' I mean, My then fiance, now hubby, Will, 28, Me, Susan, 22 and our son Blake, 4. We all lived together in a 3 bedroom ranch. In October of '05 Will and i were married and in April '06 we moved to the house in NH to become the caretakers until my parents sold the other house. Well, before that happened we found out were were expecting again, hence the earlier blog. My parents sold the house in April '07 and moved in. FINALLY! In June we bought some chicks, 6 were for Blake for his 4th birthday and the other 6 were my moms. In July along came Kylee Angelina and in Septemeber we got our Dexter Cows. Now, Alittle about each of us. My mom, Sue, lived in NY most of her life, except being born elsewhere. She is the second born in her family, grew up with an older brother and 3 younger sisters. She worked for IBM for over 10 yrs. before having me and then she became a stay at home mom. My dad, John, lived in the same area in NY for all of his life. He is the fourth born in his family, grew up with 3 older brothers and 1 younger brother. He has worked for IBM for over 30 yrs but will be retiring in Oct of '07. They were married in April of '77. In Nov. of '84 I was born. I, Susan, am an only child and lived in the same house in NY for 21 yrs before moving to NH. Will and I met while working at a farm stand in NY. For him it was a 2nd job, first being with IBM, and for me it was an after school job. He was 21 and I was 16. Just under 1 yr later i was pregnant with our son, Blake. Of course my parents weren't happy but you live and you learn. Now, Will grew up in and out of foster care and group homes throught the NY area that i grew up in. Blake was born in June of '03. I think that is all of us. ...........WAIT.........THE DOGS. Sam, my moms dog, came first. We got him from the SPCA in NY in April '03. He is 9 yrs old and is part black lab part german shorthaired pointer. After we got him we found out he is allergic to meat so he is a vegitarian. Then came Toby, 2 weeks before we moved. I found him on a site called www.petfinder.com . His owners had left him at a farm when they moved and the farm owners dogs didn't get along with him so they couldnt keep him. So we drove about 5 hrs to Delaware to met the farm owners 1/2 way to get him. He is part german shorthaired pointer part hound. HE is only a vegi-dog because of Sammy.
