    6/21/2010 - Reform law gives major boost to community health centers, medical homes

The first of these federally supported primary-care clinics opened in 1965." The law also provides funding designed to upsurge the supply of primary-care providers. And, "[o]n Wednesday, typist of Health and Human casework Kathleen Sebelius announced that the federal supervision will spend $250 million in programs to upturn the number of doctors, nurses and other care providers.
