    8/17/2010 - Hospitals address slashed payments, technology investments and rehospitalizations

    Boston Herald: Massachusetts mash committee say that reduced federal and state payments may destabilize health care delivery. The state's combined comprehensive medical insurance and CHIP program, known as MassHealth, plans to cut mash reimbursements "by $75 million in its main compact between hospitals and MassHealth, proper to the Massachusetts mash Association, which cited 'discussions' with the state in outlining the proposal cut to its members over the weekend.
