    9/13/2010 - Acute Myeloid Leukemia Lintuzumab Drug Trial Discontinued

    A Phase IIb clinical trial of lintuzumab (SGN-33) in older work with AML (acute myeloid leukemia) was end because it did not extend overall survival, Seattle Genetic, Inc., announced today. The company said it will discontinue its growth program for lintuzumab. Lintuzumab is a naked monoclonal counteractant which targets the CD33 antigen. The trial was a Phase IIb randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center clinical trial involving 211 patients, all aged at least 60 years with untreated acute myeloid leukemia who were unable to receive third edition by the editors of the american heritage® dictionary. copyright © 2003 chemotherapy...
