A new working party report from the Royal College of Physicians says that clientele with hearing and balance disorders can wait years to be seen by an useful specialist, and often remain undiagnosed and inadequately managed. This is because a dedicated and specialised audiological/vestibular service* is only available in a few specialist centres, with no provision in most of the country.
