Disability discrimination at work

A while ago I was called with a man who claimed that he was having difficulty accessing my website and on further investigation as it turns out he was visually impaired. Apparently, and that i must admit I had been totally unaware of this requirement, all web-sites which offer services or goods to then public must take into consideration that some people wanting to access these sites might have disabilities.

Disability discrimination facts

Some people have a problem reading the standard font used on sites also it should be possible for a user to select an enlarged font or a greatly enlarged font. In addition I understand that some users find difficulty reading black on a light background therefore the user will be able to select a different colour background.

The other requirement is for the consumer to be able to make use of a keyboard instead of a mouse.
