Ramblings of a Semi-Conscious Wahm

My First Blog

Posted in Unspecified

Hello there, and welcome to my blog!  I will go ahead and tell you that I have no clue what I'm doing...but I will do my best to entertain you, or maybe even teach you something every once in a while.  Mostly however, I will give you an upclose look at what it's like to go insane thanks to your children.

Okay, so I'm not insane.  (At least I hope not, but you never can tell until it's too late.)  I am, however, quite quirky at times.  You will pick up on that quickly, haha.

I should also warn you that, while most people rely on normal substances for bodily energy, I am almost completely coffee-propelled.  I drink about a pot a day, just to keep my feet dragging the floor.  I wish I had an IV drip for caffeine that I could just wheel around with me, that would be so convenient!  But then I wouldn't ever be able to use any of my pretty mugs, and I also wouldn't be able to say I needed a coffee break whenever I wanted to wind down...so I guess things are okay the way they are.

So, on to my reason for needing so much caffeine--my two beautiful children.  Samantha is 4 years old, and she's an absolute riot.  Although she's very headstrong and demanding, but she's so cute that you can forgive her for almost anything.  My son Jared is two years old, and he's a little sweetheart.  He hasn't been officially diagnosed, but it's almost certain that he has some form of autism.  But he's only mildly or moderately affected, so I'm very thankful for that.

I'd wanted to be a doctor (OB/GYN) since 2nd grade, but I left college to become a work at home mom.  Mostly I sell ebooks online, although every once in a while I branch out a bit.  I really want to start selling (you guessed it!) coffee, and hope to get that started soon.  I currently sell premium pet food, you can email me if you're interested.

I still haven't figured out how to balance work, family, and household duties, but I am really trying.  I like to think that I get better every day.  (But in reality, it's more like one small improvement every month.)  I reserve the right to talk about anything I want to in my own blog, so I won't put a limit on what I'm going to write about.  All I hope is that it's something at least a few people can enjoy.  But if you can actually *relate* to what I'm saying...then I feel sorry for you.  It might be fun to watch a circus every once in a while, but it's a different story if the circus is your life.
