Who knew that lip gloss was way more than just cute!  Several of our favorite lip gloss makers are giving us something to smile about besides the occasional strawberry flavored smooch.

Sephora sells the "think Pink" lip gloss and proceeds from this $10 gloss go to the Big Bam Foundation, which provides mammogram treatments and surgeries to uninsured and underinsured women under the age of 40.

Estee Lauder Co., which initiated an annual breast cancer awareness campaign in 1992, has expanded it this year to include products from nearly a dozen of the brands it owns, like Origins and Prescriptives.

This means if we buy Bobbi Brown Cosmetics pink shimmer lip gloss ($18); Clinique pink shimmering face palette $26.50; Estee Lauder pink lipsticks ($20 and $22)

we're getting way more than shiny lips!  We're actually giving other women hope for a cure through the proceeds of these cosmetics.

Hey, we're gonna buy this stuff anyway, why not get the stuff that really counts!
