12/22/2006 - Hi

I wish more people would be more social! You also invite people to comment on your blog, so that prompts you to respond to their comments with more comments. That's funny because I'm really shy in 'real' life. I hate when I comment on someone's blog, and they don't acknowledge it...especially after more than one comment. Why put your stuff online if you don't want to interact with people?

12/22/2006 - Hi Fightingfemale!

So right!!! If no one would have commented on what I write I would have given up on blogging almost instantly. Even though for my first 30 entries or so, I had used a tactic to keep a low profile (I created them long before I actually put some content in them), the fact that SilverWind posted a comment the same day is what prompted me to keep with it. The fact that 7 people already consider themselves friends of mine (and I really am a boring person hehe) is a good achievement, I think.

I must say, by the way, that I consider myself as a not too active user, and in comparison with other names I regularly see around JournalHome, it's almost shameful I'm a top 10 commenter! There are many names I'd expect there, but surely not mine!

I probably will write that entry of praise after all, next Friday. All I do know for sure is that I'll write one more entry to wrap up this year, with a few short follow ups on entries, and a few words about big Dutch news events I didn't talk about on my blog. It's already half written, but of course I'm not gonna post it with over a week left in the year, eh?
