Ringling Bros. ends circus as ticket sales plunge

Remembering Alan Thicke, a classic TV dad

Alan Thicke, known for showing as Dr. Jason Seaver in the family sitcom "Growing Pains," died Tuesday at 69. In addition to his acting career, Thicke wrote theme music for shows like "The Facts of Life" and "Diff'rent Strokes." He had three sons, including music star Robin Thicke. Jim Axelrod reports.
