Fight over new law that allows removal of actors' ages

The country's largest actors' union is joining the legal fight to let TV and movie fructification workers keep their birth dates private. Remembering Alan Thicke, a classic TV dad

Alan Thicke, known for showing as Dr. Jason Seaver in the family sitcom "Growing Pains," died Tuesday at 69. In addition to his acting career, Thicke wrote theme music for shows like "The Facts of Life" and "Diff'rent Strokes." He had three sons, including music star Robin Thicke. Jim Axelrod reports.
