Tribute: Ernest Gary GygaxIt's been like, what, about a month since Mr. Gary Gygax passed away. He was 70. He's the father of Dungeons and Dragons, which is the very backbone of role playing game that exists today. I mean, table top role playing game.
I never knew who he was until I read about his passing.
And while I read his biography, something came to me: If he didn't make such a great role playing concept:
I'm having trouble thinking up more. I wanted it to be kinda funny but it was got more depressing. Heh.
Anyway, he said, "I would like the world to remember me as the guy who really enjoyed playing games and sharing his knowledge and his fun pastimes with everybody else." That was awesome. Really.
Sometimes I wonder could I ever contribute to the world as he did? 1:24 PM - 3/29/2008 - post commentShare and enjoy
