continue.......3........But the facility and the expert tour planners' easy non-availability makes the tasks rather difficult for the tourists....And to be a successful tour planner, u have to find new vistas for successful operation, since the industry has no dearth of money...Only thing is needed is a creative mind who has the capability of having contacts all over the globe...There is the INTERNET, which provides a lot of help having ur own website, giving required information and lucrative offers thru pictures, blogs, travel tips and the best offers u are able to provide than others...because everybody has his own way of working trying hard to excel in the competition....Many provide the hi-profile photographers, who help them make their tour more memorable thru small workshops and the photographs of the ancient cities, regal forts, buildings and foreign landscapes....The tourists, though having their own cameras and a small experience, can make a further progress in this creative art, by attending photo/art exhibitions.
Before entering this field, it will be better to have a strong foundation with proper education having a degree in tourism/travel, which will help u to be a successful tour planner....besides u will need extra vigour, understanding and finding out the competitive companies, having strong relations with the customers, dealing with them more cordially, knowing the marketing capacity and its expansion, regular services etc...Moreso, it better helps to understand the work and the help and services u are to provide to the customers, updating with the help of communication media about new and future locations. Having contacts with the tourism boards the world over about the tourist places in the country and abroad will help u to update ur packages with more profit ratio and customer satisfaction.
