BIOTECHNOLOGY--A FUTURE CAREER MAKER.

I have mentioned some of the careers the youth can find useful...However there is no scarcity of the careers in various fields in the time to come. Amongst them, there may be a choice for the graduates in the field of Biotechnology....However, previously, when there was shortage in demand of the Doctors, and the students were selecting maths-science to enter engineering, few students were in colleges with Bio as a subject....Now the time, demands, criteria etc have changed a lot and the Bio field is becoming more fertile....The utility and uniqueness it owns, the biotechnology field is becoming a turning point for the young generation, who are eager to enter in different fields, since there are demands in home and abroad.
The Biotechnologist is as active in pharmaceutical field as he may be in agriculture, industry, neuroscience and marine as well...The student of biotech shd be perfect enough in thinking ahead of the courses he is studying and shd have a strong grip in science and engineering before entering this field...He shd be able to decide before completing graduation of entering in biotechnology.It is worth noting that the education and the field of industry are offering jobs to more than ten thousand students pertaining to this field....With the help offered by the Govt. there will be increase in research in biotech. There is need of more than 3000 Ph D students of biotechnology, where actually the number is very less. The passouts of biotech will be required in food, fertiliser, textile, nano-technology, biofuel etc. and they can enter in management, finance, marketing, intellectual property rights, clinical research, data managements......to continue
