2/4/2003 - Harry Potter 'Hogwarts Castle' Lego Package: Best Harry Potter Lego Package To Date
Posted in Unspecified

It appears it isn't feasible to be a popular film character nowadays and not have your very own Lego doppelganger. Harry Potter is considered the top-selling book series in history and it is the most lucrative motion picture franchise in history, and for that reason it was only a matter of time 'til Lego wanted a piece of the pie. This, obviously, happened, and they've up to this point introduced a substantial array of Harry Potter Lego toys.

The most recently released, and as an aside very best, Harry Potter Lego collection is known as 'Hogwarts Castle'. It comes about through the tumultuous days of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows, when Voldemort attacks the wizards school, and Harry, Ron, Hermione along with the rest of the students are required to protect the school while fighting He Who Must Not Be Named and his stooges. Hogwarts Castle Lego collection is available with Harry himself (it wouldn't prove to be much of a package without him, would it?), Ron, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Dumbledore, Professor Trelawney and a pair of dementors. Lego have really stepped up in making Hogwarts Castle their biggest collection yet: in the first place the product consists of a huge 1290 pieces and includes eleven characters including for the first time Voldemort. And the quality of work accuracy is really fantastic. Lego have obviously tried to ensure every component in this wonderful new set is exactly like the Hogwarts Castle in the novels and motion pictures. And as a result even the most fanatical Harry Potter devotees will not be let down.

In addition if you wish, you're able to incorporate significantly more characters to the milieu such as Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, Flitwick, Mrs. Norris, Argus Filch and many more Dementors for more breathtaking events requiring the next to impossible 'Patronus Charm' to correctly ward them off.

It's impressive how similar the Lego Castle is compared to the Hogwarts Castle we have long known both in the novels as well as the movies. The Lego set has even got the clock tower with its swinging pendulum, the Gryffindor Tower, in addition to magical rooms even Harry hasn't ventured in. It is so exceptionally elaborate that both devoted enthusiasts as well as non-fans will delight in it. You'll even get access to Dumbledore's personal office along with its sliding stairway.

With the 8th and final chapter of the Harry Potter movie series in theaters now and destroying box office records across the world, the series is more in-demand than ever before. In the wake of the mind boggling worldwide popularity of the Potter franchise - a franchise displaying no signals of losing popularity - this Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle package should prove tremendously successful - it has been diligently crafted, and even though there are 1290 pieces overall, 8-14 year old children will have no problem in piecing it all together. Then again you have to free up significant room for making the castle, and with plenty of small pieces you will also need to be cautious about young kids in addition to animals or you could wind up losing a few pieces!

So there you have it - the Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle set. The largest and best collection yet.
