Oooooooo! That hurts... how many times have I been guilty of just that?  How many times have I called on God as an afterthought or last resort?

 

Instead of calling on Him first, for guidance and direction and answers to the questions I thought I had an answer for?

 I ask this day that you help me to keep you first in my mind and heart in all the things I may do.  P.H.

I know it is a little harsh, but thank you for reading my blog! I am sorry if it offended you (I know some religious people don't like such things as I speak of). I looked in on your blog and I like the things you comment on. I can not say I have the same type faith or belief as you, but I agree with what motivates you. I can feel the passion in you, the same passion that motivates a lot of people. It may be different outlets but the same passion.Good luck on your journey and life! Hugs K

I am usually surprised at the things people have in common with me! I forget that I am not the only person in the world at times who has been through "life" and the troubles it brings. I am glad that you have the courage to follow your passions, as so many people never do. I hope it leads you to the places you seek.

And one other thing....I was wondering if you have ever heard of/read a bible called "The Life Application Bible"? I am not a big bible buff nor am I religious, but I have one gave to me by a friend. It is good for if you have someone that you are ministering to that can not apply the bible to this day and age. I just thought I would tell you about it, as I have read it and it helped make sense of some of the questions I had.

I am neither religious, nor church going! I know a little about Christanity and Jesus in general. I have also read a lot of the bible from the aspect of it being another book. I do not want to down play God or Jesus in most people's lives, but it is not something I give in to easily.

That is not to say I do not believe in such things as right or wrong. I do. I also believe in the laws of being a good person.

As for what is right for the others outside of my life, I give them a great amount of respect for the faith and love they have found in God. I hope it does the same for you as I have seen it do for others. I wish the best to you and your family....send my hugs to all (including mom and the brother with kids).
