'Semper Fidelis'
Translated from Latin to English means... 'Always Faithful'
Always faithful... if I ask of myself, am I 'always faithful'?... I must tell the truth... no I am not.
There are times when I doubt, there are times that I just can't see around a problem or situation I may be in.
There are even times I am afraid. Times when I doubt if the decisions I make are pure in intent and purpose, or do I have a selfish agenda behind it... especially when those decisions affect my family and others. Fear can overwhelm us if we don't find the courage to face and overcome those fears and doubts.
Only God provides the comfort and peace that I seek in the midst of these trials, doubts, and fears. When I turn to Him.. He's basically saying to me... 'I've got you', 'You're covered', 'Let Me handle this.' So in essence... if I continually seek my God... continually pray, seek, ask, receive, believe, trust... then 'Semper Fidelis' will be me... and I will be 'Semper Fidelis'... always faithful. p.h.
And Jesus said to him, " 'If You can?' All things are possible to him who believes."
Immediately the boy's father cried out and said, "I do believe; help my unbelief."
Mark 9:23 - 24 NASB
Let us journey on... help our unbelief... semper fidelis...
