Prayer is an enduring, continuing, growing love
relationship with the great God of the Universe.
Overwhelming love invites a response.
Loving is the syntax of prayer.
Loving God in prayer, somehow makes our
spiritual selves more receptive to love.
We feel a power so vast that we are actually transformed
and elevated to a highter, more fulfilled state of being.
We still cannot fathom the depths of the God
who is the source of life.
We cannot fully say His name or exhaust his meaning.
However, we can know His power and share His love.
As we do so, we make His name holy.
This is what we mean when we pray,
"Hallowed be Thy name".
