As
a man who has made it big in the world of "MMA," one may have a lot of
users who just want to be connected in some way to you. As the champ
you´ve got to know that your team is in your corner. No matter whether
you win or loose, the trainers, the friends, the managers have to be
around during the ups as well as the downs.
Quinton Jackson is a man who has obviously experienced the downs of the
fight game. With his recent loss to Forest Griffin he may have set
himself up for a depression of some sort.
As a result he has left his trainer, Juanito Ibarra. He believes that
there are greener pastures with "Team Wolflair." This team is the home
of Micheal Bisping. According to "Fighter´s Only" magazine Rampage was
quoted as saying:
"Those
guys got it together. Michael Bisping took to me like a brother from
the first time I met him. He and [Paul] Anthony were very hospitable
towards me when I first came to the UK. I feel like Wolfslair can make
me go farther than I have been; I´m really excited about being able to
travel there to train. The guys on the team, they like to laugh and
joke around but they train hard and that´s me, that´s what I like to
do. What better team to join than one called Wolfslair? I´m a werewolf.
It was my destiny. People don´t understand destiny but I do. Wolfslair
is the most perfect team for me."
This
is good news for Rampage, who has recently pleaded not guilty to 2
felonies and 3 misdemeanor counts. Hopefully, QJ will be able to get
his head on straight with good people around him.
