Matt Hughes linked to white supremacists?
Well it seems that Matt Hughes has stepped in it again. First, he put his foot in his mouth when he spoke on Randy Couture’s marital situation and started a rumor about Kim Couture being a prostitute.
Now it seems that “Hillbilly” Matt Hughes has posed with the product of a white supremacist organization. It seems that the company is called, “White Boy Society.” I’m assuming that their products are marketed to, “White Boy Society.”
This really does not surprise me. Ever since he had that disagreement with Rashad Evans on “The Ultimate Fighter” television series, I felt that he may have a little racial bias in his opinion of colored people. I’m not saying that he’s a hard core racist, but he did overreact to Rashad Evan’s “showboating” on the show. In my opinion that indicates that something else besides Rashad’s behavior was at work.
Well the company, “White Boy Society” has issued a statement saying:
Matt Hughes is not a member or supporter or associated with the White Boy Society in any way. The photograph was taken at a public autograph signing at Dales Harley-Davidson in Mt. Vernon, IL. Matt Hughes was asked to hold up the shirt for a picture for our website which he did then was rushed off to sign more autographs. The sole purpose of the photo being posted on localwhiteboy.com was as fans of MMA, we were showing off the autograph on the t-shirt. The photo was not meant to mislead people into believing that Matt Hughes supported the White Boy Society or was endorsing our products. All speculation to Mr. Hughes having any association with White Boy Society is absolutely false.
