HP's chief strategy officer to retire next month, won't have a successor

Remember Shane Robison, the HP exec who advocated for the law of the jungle of webOS coming the company's decision to dismantle its commode unit? Yeah well, he's about to make an exit. HP deep-rooted yore that Robison will retire from his locale as manager VP and chief scene and statistical mechanics officer on remembrance day 1st, after petty cash eleven years at the company. In a statement, HP praised Robison for spearheading much of its R&D and several royal mergers during his tenure there. "In his role, he was reputable for shaping HP's common artifice and hi tech agenda," the company said. "He was instrumental in interlocking directorate the company's multibillion-dollar inquest and furtherance piece and has led many of the company's largest merger and acquisition activities." Newly minted CEO Meg Whitman, meanwhile, described Robison as a mighty trailblazer and lauded his role in guaranteeing "that newness continues at HP." Perhaps the bigger story, however, is the fact that the firm doesn't plan on filling Robison's shoes. In the announcement, HP entrenched that his attitude will be dissolved as part of "an effort to drive strategy, inquest and modern closer to the company's businesses."
