That may not really make sense but it does. I thought for a few hours "Thank God, the boy is almost home and the hum-drum of the day is almost over" but instead I realized that the most exciting part has just begun. I get to go through his backpack and fill out the new 50 papers they have sent home with him. I get to figure out dinner, which is hard!!!(I mean what do you cook for just two people?!) And then there is the ever exciting routine of showers and teeth brushing and bedtimes with the thirty trips for a drink and having to pee.

Now I know all of this looks to the untrained eye as if I am bitchin (again) about the suckiness of my life but um no. You are oh so very wrong. That is the good part. That is the part where all of my good thoughts and emotions and the good parts of my personality come in...tada I am Supermom!!! I get to be somebody even if I don't know biology....I can fry chicken so there Mrs. Science. And no one can act out "A Bug's Life" like me so take that with a kirate kick. And I even know what a "Smackdown" is (ok that one took me longer, but I'm learning) and ya know what I did on Thursday? Nope? Well I will tell you...I took the boy fishing (so what if we didn't catch anything and I suck at it, I bought a toy to make it up to him.) Yeah the girl who grew up in the land of concrete went to some water and tried to catch a fish.(OK the fish story I will have to tell in more detail because it is hilarious!!!)

OK so my life sucks. And I am a little crazy. And my ex husband is a borderline perv. And the last guy I dated tried to kill me. And my mother is trying to kill me... wait that last one isn't true, I think that is just my paranoia. But so what, right? From 3:30 until 8:30 I am a superhero and who else can say that?
