So Rob is trying to get into the military. This is to avoid going to jail, which makes sense but it is also a bad thing. I mean he is already violent by nature and now he is going to get the shock of his life. I am just scared he will come back with more problems than he left with. And the other choice is going to the penn. The decision is going to come down from his Community Corrections officer today and then we will know where he will be next week. If she says no, then he is going to the Penn for four years because he violated. But if she says yes, then he leaves for Arkansa next Thursday.

Now here is the real problem that I am having with the whole thing. This is going to sound mean but it isn't. I love him and I don't want anything bad to happen to him. I would rather him go to the penn than to the military. At least there I know he would be safer. I mean in the Army he is going to be sent off into the middle of a war zone. He is convinced there is no war, just ignorant people not doing right. I know there is a war and the men are coming back crazy from it. I live by a base and the men here are doing dumb things to hurt themselves and others because of what they have seen and done while over fighting in Iraq and the like. He is not prepared for that kind of violence without becoming more violent himself.

I can see his side of it though. If he is going to be going away anyways, he might aas well go to where they are going to pay him and he is bettering himself. It is a good idea in therory. But in actuallity it really bites ass...and I am scared!
