Jay and I took our first trip on the bus in this town. It went way way way better than I could have expected. Not one time did we get lost. We both liked it for the most part. The bus has no shocks what so ever so our asses were bouncing around everywhere, but other than that it was great. She felt like such a big girl and I had someone with me, which is like a security blanket right there.

We didn't really go anywhere important (and the prices were a little steep I thought) but we were out of the house because we chose to and when we chose to. I got the rest of her paperwork for school next week to her teacher. We also went to the store and went to the health department. She was thrilled that the bus just came up to where we were and let us on. Then the fact it would take us to where we wanted to go was too much for her. And because we went early in the day we were the only ones on it, so she thought it was just for us. She felt like a princess who had "things" revolve around her. I am happy when things make her feel that way. The only bad part is when we were going through the housing area and the "thugs" were out. There was a group of guys out in the road arguing. I was scared of what could happen but instead they moved out of the road and we went home. No big....
