A fortune cookie
| I was walking Jay out to the bus stop this morning and I ran across this in the middle of the driveway. I have no clue where it came from nor do I know why, outta the three trips down the driveway this morning, I didn't find it earlier. But anyways here is what it said.... Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby.
Now I am not sure if it is some kind of sign sent to me or not but I was a little fascinated by the fact that it was this tiny piece of paper laying in the middle of the driveway and it didn't blow away. It was folded up into a perfect little square and laying right in the middle of the path.
As for the fear of shadows...huh? Well I try to not fear the unknown (which is what I assume the "shadows" are it is referring to) but I also tend to not think the best of the things that aren't right in front of me. I do not think everything is bad but I try to think of things I am unsure of in the most negative light that way if it is that bad I am prepared, not having the bottom fall out any worse than I expected and if it ends up good, I am delighted because it is better than I was expecting. |
