Bi-polar....who'd a thought?
| After years of trying to tell people that I am bi-polar, I have finally came back diagnosed as bi-polar!!! Lemme see what the list of other diagonses I have went through to get to this... 1. Major Depressive disorder 2. Mjor Depressive Disorders w/ psychotic tendancies 3. Generalized Anxiety Disorder 4. Unipolar 5. Situational Anxiety Ok so I still have the anxiety problems but now they can also say that I am bi-polar too...I wonder what the give away was. Was it the fact my sister was bi-polar or my mother is also? Was it the fact that it may be hereditary? Was it the mood swings? Or was it a doctor that finally listened to what I had to say and went "AHA!" all the symptoms point to BI-POLAR? What ever the case I am just happy that it is getting figured out. Of course the biggest problem is that I am still not medicated for the anxiety but I think that is because they want to go one step at a time. And the first step is to make me sleep and try to get the craziness in my head to stop. So now we are trying the new mood stablizer and a sleep medicine. In four weeks when I go back, we will try to work on the anxiety meds and see what to do with the sleep meds. I am just happy we finally made it to the right diagnosis. I could have hugged the ignorant ass woman and smacked every doctor that has came before her. I mean how is it after five minutes after listening to the symptoms she could put it together, but years after the other ones had been my doctor no one got it. You know why? Because the other ones never "listened" to me. They sat in the same room and acted like they were listening but not one of them heard a word coming outta my mouth. What a bunch of jackasses!!!! |
