A day at the Zoo...
and I mean literilly, not just hanging with these same animals everyday. Yesterday is one of the best days for all of us so far. It was such a good day watching the people happy and out in the world. They were getting excited and happy to see the animals. The jungle gym probably outweighed the whole zoo for the most part, but it was good to see people laughing and smiling. The saddest part is that it was a group of adults down there at the zoo acting like children...oohhhhing and aaahhhhing over some animals like our own house is not a personal zoo on most days. We get all kinds of creatures in at all times of the day and night. We have all earned a good day to come along with all the hell we have been through in the last few months. It seems to me that we may be all getting past the parts that were so very hard to handle and moving on to the easier parts for a little while. I am good with that. It has been a good fight for the last few months but then again, if there was no fighting, would it really be worth it? I would like to think no, because if you didn't want to fight for it then why is it really there? |
