My trip to NY
| It came up outta nowhere...the man comes in says "Ya wanna go to NY
with me?" I mean what other response could I have but "Okay!" An hour
later we are on the road headed completely across the country. We had
KA with us so I thought it was gonna be one hellova ride, but nope.
That is one of the best children I have ever road with. He slept, ate
and played the whole ride without any bitching or complaining. On the
ride there, Big Daddy drove the majority of the way due to the fact I
felt like shit for the most part. Even the car, which had been messed
up off and on the last couple of weeks, worked with no problems. We
left home at about noon on Friday and made it there by 8 Saturday
morning. I think my guy and my girl got upset because they couldn't go. They had plans for most part and had to keep those previous obligations. I wanted to see the show so bad but they said it wasn't anything anyways, so I guess it was ok that I missed it. On the ride there, we went through these states I haven't seen in years and I got to talk like an adult, to an adult without the stress of talking relationships and hurt and love. Just hanging out talking to someone. It was good for me. |
