9/22/2019 - AEDs Are Not Only For Hospitals And Physician Clinics - They Are Able To Be Anywhere
Posted in Unspecified

An AED is something that can be used everywhere for just about any reason - not just confined to the spaces of a medical building where people falsely think they belong. Do not believe that just because a doctor's clinic or nurses station has one, and it is a stereotype and mistake that can be fatal and for the lives of many people. Do you know what an AED looks like? Would you be able to point one out if you saw one? People perceive it as something only medical professionals can use, but that is just not the case. You can be trained to use one, as well as get trained in CPR, in less than a day for a very low price - that' snot bad to save a life. You are able to help someone's life, too - not just doctors and nurses like you may think. Check out good advice and tips from wikipedia.

Do you really know what an AED is? You have been exposed to the concept of one on television or in the movies before when a patient is rushed to the ER, a doctor rubs two medal things together, then yells, "CLEAR!" and BAM - shocks someone. It seems intimidating, but it is not. They now make them in much smaller packages and make it easy to use by providing verbal, written, and pictorial commands on how use the machine. The truth is, it could save a life.

There is nothing light about the use of an automated external defibrillator, but, more so than that, there is nothing light about the loss of a human being's life because there was not one in the home or business. Being scared is the worst enemy of an emergency situation - you need to be smart and act fast and help those who need it when they need it.
