10/1/2005 - 9/30/2005 Tree Planting Activity!!!

Today, we had our tree planting activity for our CAT at a school in Granada where we teach Catechism on Wednesdays. It was a long ride going there but the rest we had in the bus was pretty much needed since we had to walk going to the planting site from the bus.
Most of my classmates found the walk irritating, disgusting and kind of creepy... This would be because we had to take the long way going to the planting site. We actually had to cross over a slippery and muddy path from one side of the grassy trail to the other side..
HAHAHA!!! I really found the reactions of my female classmates quite hilarious because most of them were screaming as if they were at the edge of a breaking cliff or as if they were crossing a shaky bridge made of some wood and a lot of rope.. hehehe, I guess the mud kinda gave them the creeps of getting their feet and legs dirty and muddy.. Well there were actually some stepping stones to step on (quite far from one another) but some of them were covered by a little mud which made it hard to actually spot them.
Me??? I was enjoying the whole thing! At first, I didnt want my shoes to get muddy because I still had an "appointment" with someone after the activity. But when I saw the stepping stones, I didn't mind a little mud sticking beneath my shoes.

Whew... that sure was fun but I was sweating a lot from the heat... oh well, time to move on!
