Took a vaca day, yes, already in 2010 a vaca day, and of course, it was because of a doctor's appointment.

Actually, I knew Kara needed shots, and I can't leave her in pain with Jim all day, especially since I apparently missed a 15 mo and an 18mo well baby visit! She had 4 shots today, and still has to go back in a month for the rest to catch up. Poor kid.

Double visit though, because I had to also get me general checkup for refill on meds, going through Medco Mail Order now, which is my first time. Co-pay is a lot less this way, $8 each for the generics, and its a 90day supply, not the $5 per month I was doing before. It would be more now in the Pharmacy now too because my insurance changed. Yes, VZ changed the insurance options for the new year, had to select in open enrollment prior to Dec. Why wasn't this discussed when we were bargaining since it had to do with benefits at the last bargaining agreement? Especially if it was a known issue, makes it seem kinda scheme-y.

Have to go back myself to get some more blood work and an EKG at the end of the month. Ugh, routine.

Psoriasis on my elbow, but only 1 elbow, and starting to spread on my face, great. I look like a read pealing freak. People must think I have leprosy or something. I have to pickup a steroid cream and use it for a week. Hopefully it works, otherwise, I may have to see yet another specialist... ugh.

There are worse things out there. I am happy I have my health. Happy I have my family, and happy I have a job that can pay the bills.
