Well, I was shopping around last night at local stores (Circuit City/Sears...) to look for a camcorder so I could record Olivia while she's growing up.  Everything seemed outrageously overpriced and there was no good service in the stores because of the Holiday hub-bub.

I had been originally looking for a camcorder that recorded straight to DVD because those new cameras are suppose to be the best.  But they're new so they cost over $1000 a pop.  I didn't have that kind of money to spend.  I didn't want to pay too much for a camcorder that uses a tape because those will be obselete in a few years anyway. 

I'm cheap.  So I signed onto Ebay and found this camera:

I bought it for only $61.00 (plus 10.00 shipping).  I think I made out pretty good.  These retail about $230.00 a piece.

I did buy me some clothes at Burlington Coat Factory too, spend way too much money!  But I needed clothes.  So, it was worth the investment, I think.  Ugh.  I hate to see me spend money when I need to be saving.  I would have sewn pathes on my clothes if it were acceptable at work!  *laughs*  But alas it is not.  Or, maybe that's for the better anyway.  I don't treat myself often and it was nice to be able to get something for me.

*hugs* Much love.  I need to shovel the snow and get to the grocery store.  I still have 2 loads of laundry to do today and it's Jim's Dad's birthday.  *sigh*
