There's nothing "Cute" about having Iritis.
Just a heads up, I'm still not able to see/read very well from my right eye. I've had Pink Eye since mid January that turned to Irits in my right eye. (I had it in my left eye that went untreated with the initial diagnosis of Pink Eye and I'm lucky to be able to see from that eye.)
I'm still on a regimin of eye drops for my right eye. I'm glad they were able to save my vision in the eye. I was very sensitive to light and could only see white blur. Turns out, this is a sympton of a chronic health condition that they are not sure of what I have. I have a feeling I'm getting it back in my left eye. I can see distance in my right eye clearly with my glasses but I cannot focus on anything close to me or read. So I'm typing blind right now. Thankfully not literally. I'm glad to have my vision.
And a good optomologist that actually knows what he's doing. The walk-in at Endwell Family disappointed me with the recent change of events with the seriousness of my Pink Eye turned Iritis. They're two separate conditions, very different. And I am lucky we were able to treat the Iritis at an early stage. I'm still not out of the dark waters yet, becuase I am unable to read with my right eye... but hopefully things will improve. Maybe it was CVS dispensing me the wrong meds the first time I had Pink Eye, but they seem to think I might have serious health issues that are not affected by the Pink Eye.
Separately, they think the Iritis is a symptom of my poor health. Possible causes could be Lupus, Arthritis... etc. I am only 24 years old. I have a few fasting labs to complete and several check ups to see about my health. Got the Zoloft lowered to 75mg, but they onlt dispense 100 or 50 mgs so I have to take 1 & 1/2 50s. I have a new heart pill to take daily. I have to try and keep my sanity and return to natural health.
On top of my absense from the Blog, I wanted to let you know my beautiful little girl is growing up. She's 6 months now, at 14lbs. Only thing is that the doctor is concerned about her growth. She had been above the 50 percentile for her age, and ever since her Bronchitis, she's plateued. She's not been growing like she should. She's dropped below the percentile he would like and we're suppose to keep a close eye on her habits. She's eating when she wants to, how much she wants to. Eating stage 1 veggies and cereal, but we're suppose to increase her intake of nutrients and more formula but not over 32oz/day. We're not starving her, she's a clubby baby, happy, and loves to eat. She's just not growing. Did I mention she's got 2 of her bottom teeth?
So much has happened, I don't even know where to begin to recap. Lets just proceed from here. I'll take some more pictures of my girl and update when I can.
Love and Miss you. |
