9/2/2011 - Moving... Packing-lets throw it all out the dumpster

getting the truck on Monday the 12th, so I really need to crack the whip on packing. Been busy w/ school, errands, kids, and life. Just started today! Finished my course work, and I'm taking a leave until 9/27. So now I should finish my BA 12/3/12.

Contemplating what I want to do w/ my masters still. So many ideas and I think the more coursework I take, I should be able to narrow down specifically my calling. Started wanting Substance Abuse or Life Coaching, then Hospice Counseling, then Family and Marriage Therapist, Labor Relations, and now I'm finding a desire to work in global Public Health. (My [shift] "g" key combo is not working). I am loving what I am studying.

There's so much paper and stuff to throw out in the house. Not much furniture to sell as I come to find out. A ton of knickknacks... some oddball collections... it just looks like a lot b/c I had so much clutter. Turns out most of the clutter is paperwork I was scared to throw out because I never knew if I was gonna need it, couldn't find it, and then I reprinted it. The irony.

Ran into Eddie and Synie (spelling?), they both look well. gosh, how things have changed since I was a kid. *sigh*

Maya took both girls today. I was exhausted from all the running around w/ Miss "S" this am and her boys, had the girls for only about 2hrs before Maya came and took 'em so I could get some work done. That's when I tackled the school stuff and packing/garbage. I finalized my final paper, which turned out to be around 12 pages, including reference and title page (no abstract). Did 4 discussion posts... and then started some packing/garbage bags. I'd be just as happy to get the dumpster and throw it all inside. i packed up the kids urns... and was feeling like less is more right about now. i also packed the girls' art supplies-minus the paints, that'll go in a bag to bring, in-case they spill out. got some kitchen stuff packed... but i have to really get my act together next week. start w/ 1 room at a time. get some more boxes, etc.

I'm working Mon-Wed next wk (after my full weekend), looks like my boss was trying to help me get ready. She gave me next weekend off!!! She's sweet, and I'll miss Holly. But I'll be glad to be outta this money pit.

OMG, people were trespassing on the property AGAIN tonight. around 9pm, heard them outside the computer room window. and they had school aged young kids w/ them. I told them to get off the property, that it was private property and if I see them again, I was calling the police. Its not the first time people have trespassed, or stolen stuff from the property. I just don't feel safe. I understand the park is behind the house-but there's obviously a fence there separating the property.

Hoping the dumpster and cleanup project will be quick the week of the 19th. So much to do. Will need to find someone to come mow the lawn when we're in the South. The Realtor will have the keys and show the house-but someone needs to keep the lawn trimmed... Just need to keep the house presentable. Jim's gotta go find a job ASAP down there. And I really gotta get Liv enrolled in school, get Kara evaluated down there for Speech-although I am taking her evaluations from here with us, the Speech Pathologist told me what to expect with the move. She was GREAT! I'll have to send her a Thank You card, along with Kara's PreK teacher.

The emails to AMS Servicing were faint-although I could pull them up fine and readable here, and Staples and Kinkos/FedEx had no trouble, they requested darkened copies, so spent more money at Kinkos to darken, then re-emailed. Will phone Monday to check the status, as I was advised to give them 72 business hours. Also have copies to FedEx, but only had a POB, and you can't FedEx to a POB. (LOL) I didn't want to Priority Mail through the USPS. Well, I might do that Monday if they argue AGAIN about the emailed .pdfs. I think the mortgage companies just like to give people a hard time when it comes to getting help. This is the application process for the HAFA Short Sale I'm applying for. I applied for the Freddie Mac Making Home Affordable crap back in January last year, sent in the info they requested 5x via FedEx and was denied (even though I obviously met criteria), they cited that I had missing documentation even though when I phoned they advised me all the required documents WERE received.They are all liars and scam artists, just trying to put hard working people in a bad spot. Screw them.

Hell, I just have to keep the house on the market for some time, then if it doesn't sell, apply for the deed-in-lieu. If I can ever get the HAFA application through. Its the same crap I sent them at the beginning of the year, 5x, with all the most recent pay and bank statements. I am getting frustrated w/ their incompetence. People that stupid should not be in the positions they are in. They can't even do a simple job! Or maybe the system sucks. Either way, there needs to be some improvement.
