On the edge of the world , there is a town forgotten by the world . This is the explanation how its another name - "邉城" comes up . 邉城 is a town , and 邉城 is a book , written by Mr.Shencongwen .

I read it long ago as I was only a pupil. Being a kid , I was always curious about such a town , how the local people live , how the life is , how everything actually is . But already , it was like an image deeply printed in my heart . His book is a lively image pervading a scent of the mountains and villages , not merely composed by words , but actally more by colors , landscapes , affections, songs and tears . There you find a pure land you've yearned for all along . If you read it once and once again , could even hear them sing.  

Well the outline of story is like this . Cuicui is a Chatong girl , a granddaughter of a ferryman . All people in the town love singing . So does Cuicui's mom . She met Cuicui's father on a ferryboat who was a soldier . He performed a solo and she was appealed . They started to talk and sing , and fianlly fell in love . So Cuicui was born then . Cuicui's mother felt shamed so she passed away having committed suicide.

So since then , Cuicui was bred by her grandpa the old ferryman . She's a child of nature , having very dark eyes , lacking worldliness and sophistication , simple and naive , always happy and always optimistic , never angry . Like everything is a happiness in her eyes. She happily lives with her grandpa , helps people crossing the river with their ferryboat .

And love stories had also been carried on the boat , in these ferry days . Two sons of a rich man love this ferrygirl . They sang a lot and a lot love songs for the sake of impressing her . Both the two boys wanted to marry Cuicui . So they started a competition , having choosen a date , a place , when and where the competition would take place . But in the little girl's heart , there was already one of them she loved . She was same with her mother , attracted by younger boy's songs .

However, there're always some time when sentimental love songs become sad songs .

Having known that he lost the girl , the bigger brother disappointedly left the town , but on the way met a shipwreck , and died . The bereft brother , couldn't come out of the pain . He left the town , and has never gone back to the girl .

At a stormy night , the furious rain and river washed the ferryboat away . The ferryoldman was down . Although he was so worried about his granddaughter , he finally passed away leaving the little Cuicui alone.

Since then , Cuicui takes new ferry work on another boat which belongs to her grandpa's friend. She lives like the old days , only except her grandpa isn't around , except the little girl isn't optimistic like before . Everyday she waits and waits , waits for the boy who sings in her every dream , who purified her soul by his songs , waits for the boy who probably will come back tomorrow , waits for the boy who probably will never come back .. But there's always another tomorrow , keeps the waiting endless. This endless waiting keeps her life goes on .

We were driving around the mountaints , had passed several villages .We don't actually know where the town is , cuase no one has ever been there . We only followed the map and our brians . My father said , when you see a lot ferryboats , and suspending houses , that is the town !

I made a bed on the floor of my room last night . My taiwanesse friends stayed here for a night .

I used to sleep no later than 2 am .

But last night ....

Back in 2 am

We hit the bed very soon .

But there was one girl so funny and talkative , she started her nonstop speech.

She started with her stories in her school .

Yesterday was midwinter day . The weather sharply dropped to 6~14 degree from 19~25 degree on the day before yesterday . -__- There are always something bad happened when it turns cold . For examples , fever ! -__- ... It's something I had ENOUGH .

I hate winter ............ Give my summer back to me ~

Last night I vomited up . No alcohol involved , I swear! I'm not having a baby too . -___-  Seems like my tummy had been turned around and around , I vomited almost EVERYTHING out , a yellow river , hehe .. sorry for my nasty imagery . But I felt pretty good in dreams after my poor stomach got rid of those shit. Just I had to clean it up . They had travelled through my throat , esophagus , and my stomach , and stayed in my stomach around and around . I somehow felt sick looking at that . Maybe you too reading this .

I think I have killed your appetite , hehe but that's all my intention . I can't eat anything now , YOU HAVE TO BE THE SAME .

Names have elements too ( I didn't mean English name) . Chinese names are particula , it's not like english . If we are about to have an English name , we could creat one . But Chinese names aren't like so . Every name is a word . So names have elements too (if you are confused , go to lesson 1 before you read this lesson) .

Mine : silent . I suppose it's female wood .

I do remember one of my highschool classmate is named '游泳池' (means swimming pool)  . Obviously , she lacks of water element , and now she had such a name to help it . As I said in lesson 2, 5 elements should be in balance . If there are something excessive , something bad about it will happen . For example , some person has too much fire , so when the year of water (x子 or 壬x year)comes , his/her doom will come accordingly . (also comes in the year of fire) Maybe drowning . It sounds scary . But there are very few people have such a fate .

What I have said is only 0.1% about the Chinese astrology , it's complex , difficult . I feel frustrated in the translation . There are so much special things that I don't know how to say in English . For examples , every person change a breathe (luck) once every 10 years . So there's no person who's always unlucky , or no person who's always lucky . I found difficulty to call such a 'breathe' in English . 

And in the 8 words , we could judge how you go along with your family , how your husband or wife look life , how your children live , how much money you will have , what's your job , when you will change a job , when you will have love fortune , everything .

In the last holiday ( may 1st ) , My aunt warned that I had to be careful that day . (she's a super super fortune teller , she knows much more than I do) But I just didn't listen , and went to riptide . So I fell down , I was thrown to 10 metres far away , but I didn't fall onto hard rocks , instead , I dropped to water . I nearly drown , couldn't get out of water ,  all the water rushed me to a cave below . (wow.. I thought I would really die then) , couldn't breathe for a while . But finally somebody helped me out .

I have figured out 8 words about that days . It was a really special day. All golds killed one wood (they hurt woods , I'm female wood ) , and wood is in trouble and has no way to out but saved by hot soil (hurts gold) , so it means the person who save me , probably is born in sheep year . And what's below the golds are water element. Wood has been in trouble , and it's about drowning .

If I knew this earlier , I wouldn't go anywhere but to stay home .

Here're 2 lines , 4 rows .

*The first line is called 'sky trunk' ; the second line is called 'earth branch' . (It's only translation , don't take serious of the meanings , I don't know how to explain that to you -___- )

*There are 4 rows , the year row shows message about your ancestors , the month row shows about your parents , day row is about you and spouse , time row is about your children.

*The word 辛 in red means self .

These words are something like Chinese maths . They are actually some numbers , but they are not like 一,二,三 .. what really mean one two three in Chinese . Only people who know Chinese astrology know what they stand for .

It's very very very difficult to translate your birthday information , you have to prepare a particular calendar book (about all days in all ages , cuase everyday is totally different ) And a lot math is required , you have to figure out very complex numbers to get the 8 words for yourself . Hehehehe ... but as the technology goes so fast nowaday , we have computer working it out . We can have the software listed the 8 words .

There are 60 rows . 60 will meet a circulation . For example , if this year is a year of 甲子, 60 years later , it will be a 甲子 year again . If today is 甲子 day , 60 days after , it will be another 甲子 day .

Btw 2006 is the year of 丙(male fire)戌(male soil , but it's hot soil , this soil also bears FIRE element ), so it must be a year a lot 'fire' , like war fire (perhaps terrorist's attack ) . Sometimes we're destinied to have something , do something , lose something . I believe in fate . I believe everyone has his own life , it's like a specialized route . Do you believe it ?

The ancient materialism is different with the modern materialism . The ancient materialist believed the whole world consisted of five elements . Fire , soil , water , wood , gold . And all of them have two kinds , simply male (yang) and female (yin) , they are just what we call 'yinyang' . Just like everything in the world  has two different types , human = female + male , the earth has two poles . So all those 5 elements have two types . Male means eutropic , face to the sun , opposite , strong . Female has a different meaning , opposite to the sun , delicate , pretty , tiny . For sure , the real world doesn't really have five things only . They are just signs , meaning everything around us .

  Male gold : metal , sword , reamer , economy , finance ... ect

  Female gold : jewellery , money ... ect

  Male fire : sun , fever , or machine ... even computers , cars ..

  Female fire : candle light , warmth , lights.. ect

  Male water : sea ... everything with great water

  Male wood : trees , forest

This is the 3rd time I have finished an entry but ended up clearing it all .

Recently I am learning some programming . It's pretty interesting . Something like C++ and php , actually they are just for the preparation of my new website . But once I start I can't stop .

In 2006, I will keep learning more , sewing more , drawing more , and working more . I don't love to wait , hate to be a person who's waiting for tomorrow , living for today . I am my life's owner , designer , and creator , I will design my way , draw the blueprint of my own . I just want to surprise the world , before my 30 . I will do it , trust me !!!!!!!!!!! >_<

I'm sick now . Having slept for 15 hours (with 4 layers of quilts covering above , could you believe that ??? ) , fever finally had gone , but my head is still like exploding , and the stuffy nose is torturing me all along , maybe I'm a little bit sexy today , causeeeee.... I have a harsh deep voice now . "hello , it's Brad Pitt here , I love you my girls !" .. ahahahahaha , totally like a guy . OK ,stop kidding , and I'm sure you wouldn't love to hear my voice now . But it's getting better , at least I can make a sound today .

Hmmm... The study of this quarter is temporarily finished . My communication with the outside world will be continued right away . Mango and Vinson are definitely crazy ! Last week I blogged on spaces , telling that I insanely got rid of all those tough work . And no later than the afternoon on that day , I got their calls to go out for .. FUN FUN FUN . @_@

5, Go back to my piano! I cut all my nails short just for that ... -_-. Maybe my mom will really sell it out someday if I kept my nails forever long. Goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

6, Sew ! Sew more clothes .  I owe Mango an Ipod case , a scarf , and owe Vinson , Tim and Andy suits , cuase ... errr I think I make promises to easily . I will be careful of my tongue next time.

7, Do more research about fashion trend , keep watching the market , keep shopping , keep upgrading myself , my brain and my fashion sense , design more clothes , keep searching for inspiration . Darn it , I just watched American Next Top Model yesterday . And it made me ...motivated more but also imagine more . Sometimes , on my way to school , I found myself simply stepped like I was on the catwalk . OMG.  Now I know I am insane . Always daydreaming , dream more but pratically do less . I am a fantast . You know what , I even had dreamt that Galliano was my fan . And Mcqueen crushed me cuase I do better than they do . And , maybe one day I am stepping on catwalk , all those super top models are wearing my dresses .I am as beautiful as a model , confident and sexy , I broke the rule on fashion show that he/she's the most ugly who comes in the end @_@ ,mm means the designer ~ But no , it's not correct in a Mazakii world . I will be also graceful and beautiful as those models . My fashion show will be unprecedentedly so fancy , that it allures all kinds of celebrities from all over the world . At the end of the show , I will receive applause lots like hell . hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahah hahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahaha  . Then I become a legend on fashion market world , hot stars go crazily for my design work .And my dresses will be on sale at an insanely high price .

I'm closer to death , little by little . They are really killing me , don't even give me time to eat and sleep . They had never cared about me , and never considered how much I could bear , how much I could suffer . I'm tired to see their ugly faces . I hate to go to school , I just wanna do what I wanna do , I wanna sleep , I wanna rest , I wanna live , could you please please give me space ? Perhaps if I work more I will work better , but I am so sure if I work less I will live longer .....

You know why a luxury such as a bloody Chanel classic suit (the one which is collarless and no waist sliming line) sells at this crazily exorbitant price ?

It's always hard for me to imagine that it needs 160 metre plaid fabrics to make only ONE suit . For me , 2 metre suiting fabrics are already enough to make everything I want . But they need 16M plaid to make one , just because the fabric is plaided, and you must make all patterns perfectly aligned . ( That's the reason I'll never use any plaided fabrics.)  And finally , amongst every 10 suits , only 1 can be considered as a finished product . The rest are all trash .

So 160 are required .  I guess it gave the reason to Burberry which had become a luxury later as well .

If you want to own one , you have to pay a price at least including an amount how much 160 metre cloths cost . But there are always stupids in the world .. lol ..

I know LV is exquisite , I know Rolex is superb , I know Ferrari is FAST , I know first-class stateroom is an enjoyment , I know diamond is gorgeous , I know Chanel dress is fashionable , I even know abalone is delicious . I know everything you know , even everybody knows it PRETTY WELL. So don't keep telling me how they are good , please . No need . I would thank you very much . A hickish girl from hills like me , can't (maybe never will ) afford one of the above . If I say it this way can make you feel much better and balanced , and fulfil your peacockish intention , I will say it a thousand times till you stop .
I don't know how come everyone talks to me about the same thing , that only luxurious dresses or jeans , can fit their figures well . I admit luxurious stuff are great indeed , but the price is even greater , why nobody talks about it ?  Do I look like a poor person very underdressed that would rouse everyone's desires for showing off their upper class life ? -_-
