2/18/2009 - another child.

Just returned from work not long ago.

today centre is in chaos.

everything is so messy. i'd just got informed ytd that peggy has been diagnosed with HMFD.

another child of mine. haix. so the whole cleaning process have to be started again. and my poor N1 class have to be isolated. and the sister, pearlyn, has to be isolated everyday as well. poor thing.

from today onwards, have to have lunch, lessons, assembly, nap, everything inside the class. if not, the mdm soh will nag and nag and nag. like today. and found a few children with rashes today. one of them is trisha. whole body is full of red rashes. called her daddy and her maid came and fetch her home.

i was on my own most of the time today. so tiring. so many things must do and the children are not used to lining up also. they'll run ard and so on, so it's terrible.

very terrible.

and mdm soh only make matters worst.

finally got time to rest when the children are napping.

received msg from jasmine saying she went back to work, i no need to go over. really am grateful for that cos i'm burned out alr.

ytd went over to help and i was bored to death there. no crowd at all. luckily got some ppl ltr that night and our sales is not so bad.

nico was working at c.a.p all by himself. poor thing ar. no one to chat with. lOl. he was convert back to part-timer alr. at least being a part-timer is less stressful and the pay is higher. hah.

and i realize somehting today.

children. they are scared of RED paint.

i was doing art with them today and i prepared some paint for them to do hand printing first.

i got red and yellow paint. then i thought use the red one first then overlap with the yellow.

after that, i got some of them to do first. first 3 child are fine. they was so happy to do art.

then the 4th child, she placed her hand on the plate of paint and when she took it up, there's some uncovered areas so i painted in on with a brush.

she was so scared. then after she had done them, she ran to the toilet to wash them off.

after that i got another child to come and do, and when she took her hand up, she saw the red paint on her palms and she CRIED.

then after that i quickly rush her to the toilet to wash off the paint. then cleaner auntie tell me that they thought it was blood. then i know.

lOl.

anyway, i'm not going to use red paint with them ever again.
