Determining A Good Time To Start Dating
When you life is entirely in gear, your parents are on speaking terms with you, you’re happy with your appearance, your problems don’t raise your blood pressure, your job is going well, and your friends think you look so good, it could be the right time for dating. A perfect person can make your days even more fabulous and better; besides there’s something wonderful about that chemistry thing. These are a few events that may encourage you to happily jump into the dating world:
• You friends support you: Often, friends’ involvements are all what it takes to get you going. This is a good motivating factor, because your friends don’t always have the time to help you everyday.
• You feel great: For a long, long time, this could be the first time you feel so good. Of course, you should be stone cold sober while experiencing this feeling. Remember, it feels easier to borrow some money when you don’t need it; unfortunately the same is true with our emotions and relationships. You should be at your coolest self and feel completely relaxed.
• You just move to a new city: At this moment, you’re likely in the exploration mode and you’ve made some new friends. There are new park benches to sit on, new museums to explore and new restaurants to experience. While you are getting new friends, your chance of getting a date is usually higher. It’s quite safe to say that when you move to a new place, you start everything anew. If you have someone you like, you can learn the place faster, especially if the person can take you to wonderful places in the city.
• It’s a special occasion: Although a New Year’s Eve or Halloween party can be treacherous events for a first date; a special day can help you to remember that life is marching on. If you find it necessary to have someone to march besides you, then you need push yourself more.
• Something big is coming up: An anniversary or a close friend’s wedding day can offset your lethargy and motivate you to deal with inertia and fear. This is can be an important opening gambit. If you want to take your date to an important event, you should be more careful about making it as part of your very first date. Sometimes, you need to have a few “mini dates” to break the ice and prepare both of you for the big event.
