America loves monster trucks. Heck, everybody loves them. The Undertaker has one. From the RC world monster truck means big, 4WD trucks with plenty of ground clearance. They are the epitome of backyard bashing and take care of off-road immaterial else.
Ground clearance and big tires are what gives these trucks their superb off-road capabilities. Stadium trucks and buggies handle great on dirt tracks, but try running them on grass. However, can be basically anywhere the transmitter tells them to.
These trucks will also be tough to flip. Since they have a real wide wheel base and so are heavy, they just keep going. A monster truck can fly around most at quite high speeds and and never have to concern yourself with flipping. They are just the thing for jumps also. Hardly any other RC vehicle is really as planning to find its tires like a well-built truck.
Even snow won't stop an excellent RC truck. Sand, loose gravel, slick grass, and just about any other type of terrain may be conquered. The 4WD gives good grip on any surface as well as the weight helps place all that torque down.
One can choose from all shapes and forms there is a good alternative for everyone. Perhaps much more compared to the other RC vehicle classes, suspension lengths and overall dimensions vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer. There are several upgrades and adjustments available so eventually the18 wheeler can be designed to fit the driver's needs perfectly.
You can modified these trucks for racing as well. Our prime center of gravity and weight ensures they won't be as good as stadium trucks, but there are many monster truck class races to penetrate and so they can deposit some serious speed if tuned correctly.
Racing is not only event it is possible to bring a monster truck to. Every year multiple trucks bashes are held where experienced drivers can try their hand at crushing cars, clearing obstacles and sending massive jumps.
The fun doesn't end there, these trucks can even be built for pulling events. In these events competing trucks square off from the ultimate test of torque and power. Some people have tuned their trucks to tug incredible weights, like full-sized cars.
Ironically, these are possibly the most versatile RC vehicle available. They are able to run on concrete or dirt, handle basically any terrain, race and jump. They may be amazingly fun for toying around outdoors. Apart from maybe drifting, there isnrrrt much a monster truck can't do. By incorporating dedication obviously any good drifting monster truck may not be completely not possible.
Currently monster trucks can be purchased with electric and nitro motors. Nitro used to be the best option for trucks, however with the implementation of brushless motors plus much more powerful batteries the electric models now perform just as well as the nitro models. Which one to get is about you.
