Introducing Paris Hilton, Newly Trained Method Actress! [Method Woman]

Brace yourselves, it sounds like Paris Hilton has decided to take this whole acting thing sorta seriously. And to prove it, she's en masse lauding her newly perfect acting coach, Ivana Chubbuck, for clueing her into a bold new approach to the entire Process of Acting. Paris newly explained to People how this wildly eccentric "Method" had been helpful in preparing her for exceedingly difficult roles in The Hottie and The Nottie and Repo: The Genetic Opera:

"I've had a lot happen to me in my life. Now I've learned to use those personal account in my acting. I'll think of existent in my life, use it in the scene, and it really works."

In case you're wondering who Ivana Chubbuck is (we think she sounds like a Bond villainess), it turns out she's no slouch as an acting coach. Chubbuck lists Oscar competition Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron as former students, and an old Slate meeting describes Chubbuck as having "a striking talent for reading people, all their utterances and body language, in their finest unwitting detail." Oh dear. While Chubbuck might very well be able to analyze her students', um, "unwitting detail," we fear that there's really nothing about Paris worth "listening" to. Just consider her response to inquiries about her consigned role on Showtime's The L Word: "I don't know [what character] yet. I just know I was asked by the creators." Good luck, Ivana!
