7 words, 10 syllables, 29 letters, and one horrible excuse for an ending...
Two dogs walking from opposite ends meet at a hydrant. The first dog is bigger, and he is angry. The second is smaller, and he is smart. The first barks, the second runs. This goes on for days, weeks, and years until one day the second dog arrives and the first dog is not there, the first dog died in his sleep the night before. The second dog doesn't need to run, but he does, because he doesn't know any other way. He doesn't know that all the hydrant ever wanted was both dogs to take turns pissing all over it, to feel alive, because that is all it lives for...
The hydrant is sad and nobody cares.

DIFFERENT!
I will never look at a fire hydrant in the same way again. I will probably smile when I see one and wonder how many dogs have passed it by and also what stories the fire hydrant could actually tell. Cheery :-) LOL with a big (hug) from Dawnie. |
