At Ruissalo island in Turku I was shooting at dawn (very early...). There were this flock of barnacle gooses standing near the sea shore. As I approached the birds while taking pictures, they suddenly decided to leave the scene. I just took a snapshot of the gooses taking off. Later on when I was checking the results, I kind of liked this one. There is a strong motion blur most, because I just quickly raised the camera and took the shot. What I like about this shot is the sequence and symmetry of those flying birds.

Of all the pictures you've posted so far, I like this one the best. I'm a big fan of unsharp pictures of movements, such as flying birds, but also traffic. I must say I like all your photos. Finland's a beautiful place.

Thank you. I'm glad to hear that others also like this picture. I think it is the most artistic picture on my blog. Usually you are just too focused to sharpness and just ignore all the soft images, altough sometimes they make the best shots from a certain scene.
