When I was in Scotland I had also an old film SLR with me, a Pentax ME from the 70's!
I didn't even know for sure wheter it works or not. I took one roll of pictures there and today I received the developed pictures. Well... The camera works alright, or at least I think so. Actually now I really know why there is so much material about exposure. This camera has a automatic light meter but that's it, the rest is up to the photographer. I tried to utilize my knowledge about exposure, but still it failed missearable in some of the shots. In the end there was only few succesfull pictures in the whole roll. But still I kind of like the feeling of this camera and I will probably use it again also. You just have to think much more about the lightning than with modern fully automatic cameras.
