Today I was shooting with a friend at Halikko river. In this part of the river there are rapids and small waterfalls. The weather was bad. It was raining heavily the whole time. Its strange how you still manage to forget the weather when you are focused on taking photographs. The trip was pretty extreme because it was wet, icy and the river banks are steep rock covered with moss. Luckily there was no injures. First I saw this iron pole (or something) sticking out of the water. I took few shots in a very difficult position. I had to "aim" only by shooting test shots and correcting the camera position according. After this shot I moved to a new extreme position below the little waterfall. I didn't get any good shots, so I moved on. Next we walked few hundred meters upstream. There I took the last shots of the day:
In the end we were trying to manage through thick bushes to cut some corners (notice trying...) and pretty much everything was wet. Well, just "normal" photographing I guess, and its fun! |
