I have been busy this whole week at work, I took on a project and I, (somewhat foolishly), promised that I would be able to finish it by Monday, in fact I was secretly hoping to actually be done by Friday afternoon... I wasn't
So now I am at work, frantically trying to finish it off, it sucks a bit. The way the market has been lately I get very worried when I cannot meet my deadlines, my company has been retrenching left right and center.

And I can't really do any work tomorrow either.

Because it's fathers day in South Africa tomorrow, (not sure about the rest of the world), the girls want to go out somewhere, my wife might want to go and visit her father. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind going to visit my in-laws, but truth be told, spending, (what is supposed to be my 'special' Sunday), with my in-laws is not my idea of a relaxing fathers day.

It is more my wifes' idea of fathers day. The funny thing with women, is when you tell them you don't want to do anything on Fathers day they don't believe you, (or they just plain get upset with you), you are expected to want to spend the day with your familly, but come on, I spend all my time with my family, every single week-ends.

So if I want to send my day in front of the TV rather than fixing things around the house, or having small talks with my in-laws, then it should be my choice :)
