Well I thought I would tell you all a bit about my spirituality and belief system. Well I am a Wiccan, a Celtic Wiccan at that. I have 5 personal deities. Dagda/The Dagda, Danu, Branwen, and Melusine (hence the name) come from the Celtic pantheon and Anubis, who oddly enough comes from the Egyptian pantheon. Yeah, i'm an oddball. I respect all paths though in the craft.
As a person, I have developed a sorta uncomfortableness towards the religion I was born into which is Roman Catholicism. My father was born Catholic and my mother Baptist. No, I have not told them yet, but I have a feeling my mother knows because I took her with me to a store called Conscious Creations. They sell Wiccan/Pagan stuff. I still have to look forward to the day when I meet the right man, whether he be Pagan, Wiccan, or whatever; and I have to tell my father that I am going to have a Pagan ceremony instead of a Catholic one.
I have a great deal of respect for all religions and would like to learn more about the ones towards the east, like hinduism, shintoism, and buddhism. Whenever that can happen. ^_^ I avidly believe in the golden rule. Because I feel that if you show others kindness and respect, you will receive it too. That also sorta goes back to the three-fold law.
I believe in reincarnation and I believe that I have several past lives. I also believe in Karma. I believe that whatever you send out in the world, you will receive. The old 'reap what you sow' comes to mind here.
I use tarot cards to divine and would like to eventually get a crystal ball because it has been my fascination as a child to have one. I also would like to get a rune set. I believe using these tools can give an insight but you can't become too dependent on them. They are tools afterall.
In an earlier entry I got a response:
Let me start by saying that everyone is entitled to be stupid. You, however, abuse the privlege. The reason I chose to remain anon. is that I know you little antisocial types have a tendency to take stuff written on your blogs a tad too seriously, and i have no desire to have a mad woman pounding on my door yelling about ritualistic animal slaughters to the great goddess of eastern nauru with one dog head and an extra toe being necessary to cleanse my soul after my hurtful remarks towards you online. As for you not announcing you are bi (which as i said, i have no probs with, and have infact experienced in the past), i would like to show you exhibit A: " Anyway, on the way home from school I called her and told her I was pissed off. Because I truly love those friends and best friends who are close to me and she is one of them. We met at a chef's conference and hit it off from there. I love her not only as a friend but as girlfriend too. (YES, I AM BI!) I told her I was so concerned that I had talked to my professor and she is going to handle it.
did you pick it? could you see where i drew my conclusion from? get it get it? get it? ah, forget it, i'll explain it to you another time ok
I just want to let you know that I do not go around screaming with a goat's head or a dog's head. How uneducated are you to say such things. Go search the web for wicca and you will get a good definition of it. We believe in not harming creatures and I would never do such a thing as I am an animal supporter and love animals. So take your narrow-minded butt and crawl back in your hole because obviously you don't have respect for other's religions but yourself's.
Blessings!
