6/24/2006 - My views on the bi/gay/lesbian community
Posted in Other

I will express it now. I am bisexual and if anyone has a problem with that, that is obviously your problem. I first discovered that I thought I was bisexual when I was in high school. When I told my mom she said that I should pray. Well I have prayed and still my feelings have not changed. I think that we in the g/l/b community are persecuted because of the fact that we are different. If people are not surprised by the age fact then why gender. I have seen people who are 10 or 20 years older than their partners and nobody gives a shit. So what is the difference? Is it that we are the same gender? I think people also think that we live outrageous lives. I'm bi and I live with my parents and I do not go out. I solely focus on school and helping my parents. Does that seem like outrageous behavior?? Bush, that rat b*****d, needs to f**k off and leave the Constitution alone. Hello! There were significant gays in history and he wants to just make it like being gay is wrong. F**k you Bush! Anyway, I have ranted. Have a good day!

Blessings!

I know! You CHOSE to be bi just so you could tick people off! Aha! No, you CHOSE to be bi so you could have a harder life in some aspects; being part of a minority that is often discriminated against, worried that certain people will find out and discriminate against you. The point is, you don't CHOOSE, you are what you are and it's biologic! People who are gay/lesbian or straight have different brain waves. My kids (we are not from a very liberal area) are starting to use "gay" as a term to laugh at and I that I will NOT tolerate!! See why I love my martial arts instructor? He was once asked to give a self-defense seminar and then found out it was to transvestites. Being from this area did he react with hatred, fear, no? He just shrugged and said, "Well, I guess I be the manliest man there", smiled and squared his shoulders a bit...no judgement, just acceptance. I'm sure he had a great time, because they can be so much fun! Oh I formed my attitude because I went to nursing school and lived for 9 years in an area of Chicago that has a large gay popuation, right when HIV came on the scene, of all times. Nobody knew what it was. I have so many stories. I hate it when my comments are longer than the posts! I am just very opinionated on the topic and it's been an emotional day. I'll shut up now.
