Tears
This morning we put down Shadow. My sister and I cried the entire way to the vet's office. I can still remember the tears rolling down my cheeks as my parents took Shadow and the little ones in. My sister kept asking my mom if we could not put her down and my mom told her that it was the right thing to do. We all were crying except for my dad who cried when we saw her being put down. It was so quick. It seemed like it took 15 seconds, probably less, to euthanize her. I feel so lost now. I still have Lexi and Dixie but its not the same. I am going to expect Shadow's bark and know that she isn't there. I know one day I will be reunited with her again...but it seems so long away and I don't want to be without her. I love her so much. I would like to thank everyone for their support.
