A small break
My friend called me last night after we both had time to cool our heads. She was very mature in apologizing for calling me a deceitful bitch. I forgave her. Right now we are taking a small break...a couple of weeks so I can reevaluate our friendship from my standpoint and from hers. I have been concentrating on only my thoughts and feelings. A good friend puts themselves in the other's shoes as well and that is what I intend to do. Do I forgive to many times? Maybe, but maybe the higher power stuck me with her for some reason. I do love my friend. She is like a sister and maybe I need this break to remind myself of that. Anyway, I am going to go. I have rid myself of my negative thoughts and I feel much better.
